Merchandising Webinar: Notes and Playbacks Now Available

Nearly 150 Shop.org and NRF members registered for a webinar this week focused on Picking the Winning Merchandising Tactics. The event featured executives from the e-tailing group, REI.com and BestBuy.com and received some great feedback from attendees. We thought we would share some notes from the webinar with you below. The good news from The 9th Annual e-tailing group Merchant Survey: • An impressive 59% (vs. 36% last year) are planning to invest somewhat more in e-commerce than they did in 2009. • Consistent with the prior year, 42% report conversion rates somewhat or significantly higher – this greater focus leads to continued conversion …
